Installation
Prepare the original projects
Section titled “Prepare the original projects”Read Requirements & dependencies first. This is a client-side Fabric patch, not a standalone replacement for Better Cats.
- Prepare Minecraft 1.21.1, Fabric Loader 0.16.0 or newer and Java 21 or newer.
- Install the required original resource pack and compatible EMF + ETF releases. Enable the resource pack according to its author’s instructions.
Install the Luventry patch
Section titled “Install the Luventry patch”Download Better_Cats_fix.jar from the official release page. Put this JAR in the client profile’s mods folder.
The original resource pack belongs in the resource-pack setup; the Luventry JAR belongs in mods. They serve different roles.
Launch the matching profile and continue to Playing & usage.
