Wiring & connections

Installation and electrical connections are different steps. This page covers the connections after you have placed the components.

Power the Control Box. Connect the doors. Connect each floor's call button and indicator from that floor's door.

Connect a Generator to the Elevator Control Box. The system requires an electrical power source to operate.

Use the game’s electrical wiring system to connect the doors to the Control Box. These connections may also pass through electrical relays or other elevator doors.

The doors must still be vertically aligned on the same X/Z coordinates and face the shaft correctly.

3. Connect each floor’s controls from its door

Section titled “3. Connect each floor’s controls from its door”

From each elevator door, connect that floor’s:

  • Call button.
  • Floor indicator panel.

This allows the elevator to associate those controls with the correct floor. The diagram shows two floors; repeat the same arrangement for additional floors.

Deposit the materials into the Control Box, then choose Build Elevator when the requirements are met.

See Troubleshooting if a floor is not being recognised.
